You're Beautiful

I had promised my little Princess that she could have her ears pierced. Although I prefer to 'preserve' her natural child beauty till she reach puberty. But she's been nagging me the whole weekend, I had no choice but succumb to her wishes...hmmm kids

Well, I brought her to a jewellery shop to get the piercing done. And here's the result.

Tania wants her ears pierced too, but I have always said no.

Sofia promised to let her have them pierced when she is older.

A lot of my friends pierced their daughters ears when they were still babies.

She is really cute. I would guess 5 years old.

In my custom usually they pierced their daughters ears when she is abt 7days old...cos the ear lobes are still tender n soft

lovely daughter you have Sassy!

My ears were pierced when I was around 2 years old and through manual piercing with a needle (ouch!). Children now are more fortunate they have the use of these ear piercing gun looking device. In the Philippines, usually daughters get their ears pierced while still babies or early toddlers. It has been also a way to easily distinguish if a baby is a girl so it saves people the embarrassment of mistaking a girl baby as a boy.

coffee fairy

sounds like ur custom n mine r similar, 'they' practice piercing their babies ears at a very early stage...

But just to show ppl the difference sometimes is just a waste of time cos they tend to ask u again n again, is it a boy or a girl: duh..

Patrick

Earrings are not as painful as on the lips or other sensitive areas:- ouch

Prince

I'm not as vain as my husband is..haha

Elvina

I name her princess cos she's the only giirl among her siblings..

And may ur wish come true

Hartini

Thank you, thank u for ur sincere compliments.
